DiGiCo Quantum 5 Engine Upgrade for SD5 er et oppgraderingssett som gir en eksisterende SD5-konsoll Quantum-motorens prosesseringskraft, inkludert et strømfordelingskort for Quantum. Denne varianten har HMA-tilkobling med enkelt Optocore optisk loop. Etter oppgradering støtter konsollen opptil 256 inngangskanaler, opptil 128 Aux/Sub-Group-busser og en 36 x 36 prosesseringsmatrise, med 48 innsatte Mustard-prosesseringsstriper og 128 Nodal prosesseringsinstanser.
